Haytham: Head Mounted Gaze Tracker
Haytham is a head-mounted gaze tracking software developed by Diako Mardanbegi’s that runs on Windows (in C#). I have developed this cross-platform version during the beginning of my PhD with two goals:
- Learn how eye tracking software works;
- Be able to use eye tracking on Linux.
I have learned about encapsulation, image processing, and classic computer vision while developing this project and also ended up having some research ideas of my own in the process. The project itself was not really useful, but this was one of the first larger projects I have worked on my own. You can read the (incomplete) docs here.
