Active Handout Astro

Active Handout Astro is a framework for interactive course development built with Astro . It is a complete rewrite of the original Active Handout framework, incorporating lessons learned from its development. Instructors can create course materials with multiple-choice questions, Parsons problems, text exercises, slides, and more, all using MDX.

I developed Active Handout Astro for two key reasons:

1. I wanted to explore building a project with Astro .
2. I needed to create courseware for a new course and sought greater flexibility to integrate interactive components that the previous version couldn’t support effectively.
