Active Handout is a framework for interactive course development built with MkDocs and Material for MkDocs. My colleagues, Prof. Igor Montagner and Prof. Rafael Corsi, and I built this framework to allow us to develop interactive handouts for our courses at Insper.

It has been used by other instructors to develop their own courseware.
